Mullaghmore & Castleview Community Association

MACCA (Mullaghmore & Castleview Community Association) has been part of the local community for over 20 years.

MACCA provides facilities & activities in our Resource Centre, the Eco Centre & Community Gardens.

MACCA Resource Centre is managed by volunteers from the local community and raises funds to compliment all funded activities provided.

We are always keen to hear from local residents who have ideas on improving the services we provide, or have issues that need resolving.

Events Venue

MACCA Centre is an excellent venue for:

  • Seminars
  • Conferences
  • Community Meetings
  • Public / Private Meetings
  • Exhibitions
  • Birthday Parties
  • Funeral Lunches
  • Weekly Class events (e.g. Dancing, Drama)

Our Community Garden is ideal for Outdoor / Environmental Workshops or Open Days.

Eco-Centre2The Eco Centre is our latest building. The Eco Centre is built to the ‘passive house’ standard –  an ultra-low energy building that requires little or no external energy for space heating or cooling. It is another excellent addition to the Resource Centre, providing a venue for hosting horticultural & educational projects.

Association Meetings

The MACCA monthly meetings are held in the main building on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm  (except August)

Everyone is welcome to the public meeting.

MACCA receives funding for projects and programmes from a range of funders including:

  • DSD Neighbourhood Renewal
  • Omagh District Council / CSP
  • Children In Need
  • National Lottery
  • many local businesses
